The Upgrade symbol, one of four main characteristics in an open business strategy. Upgrades relates to business models where the focus is to sell more of the same. You give away a basic digital version of your product/service to promote the sales of an enhanced version.
E.g.

- Minimum –> maximum
- Low-resolution–>High-resolution
- Limited/deluxe/exclusive edition

The Related Services symbol, one of four main characteristics in an open business strategy.
Related Services refers to business models where you give away one product/service to promote the sale of another related product/service.
Different related services:

The Access symbol, one of four main characteristics in an open business strategy.
Access covers strategies where one sell the availability of a product/service.
Several aspects of accessibility:
- Open copyright/copyleft licensing a product/service (ex. CC, GPL). People can access/assess your product/service without you losing the rights to the material
- Immediacy: A free version is available some time in the future, you pay for getting it NOW
- Findability: A free version is available somewhere, you pay for finding it HERE
- Usability: Design good structures that allow people to contribute/donate to you cause with ease, simplicity and by choice.
I have yet to find a good name for this sub-category. In general it encompasses user-friendly solutions/design structures - where you make it easy for people to support your cause/product/service economically (e.g donation buttons placed next to dl buttons, people choosing what they want to pay for a product).
